Summer Elite Residential Camp at Lander University

Philosophy/Aim of Camp

Our summer residential camps offer the opportunity for potential college level players to spend numerous days on our campus, working directly and closely with our staff and other college coaches around the region. Lander University men’s soccer has a proud history of success on the pitch, in the classroom, and in the community.  Our goal is to identify those that can meet the high standards of excellence we set for our regionally and nationally prominent program.  For those that we do not select for our own program, we aim to offer exposure to other programs as well as help to improve their game by providing specific feedback to take away.  Each player will also receive knowledge of best practices regarding preparation, recovery, nutrition, specific strength and conditioning, tactical information, and NCAA processes.  With great facilities, professional coaches, college-specific information and a fun environment, our camps offer one of the most cost-effective and worthwhile experiences in the Southeast and the NCAA as a whole. 

Coaches attending from a range of NCAA levels, NAIA, and Junior Colleges.

Residential: $375 per session

Both Sessions: $700

(A small online convenience fee will be added on upon registration)

Refund Policy: full refund minus the deposit – up to June 21st, after which no refunds will be issued.

Saturday, June 27

  • 7:30am Breakfast
  • 9:00am Presentations at JMC
  • 9:45 - 11:15am Training- Passing/ Possession (GK separate)
  • 12:00pm Lunch
  • 2:00 - 3:00pm Pool
  • 3:30 - 5:00pm 1v1/2v2 ATT and DEF (GK rotate)
  • 5:30pm Dinner
  • 7:30 - 9:30pm 11v11 Games
  • 11:00pm Lights Out

What to Bring
  • Soccer training gear for number of training sessions provided (t-shirts, shorts, socks, waterproof jacket)
  • Soccer cleats and shin guards for all sessions
  • Water bottle (hydration provided at field, but useful to have own)
  • Tennis shoes if required to go indoors
  • Bed sheets, blankets, pillow
  • Phone charger
  • Towel and toiletries
  • Flip flops
  • General clothing for between training sessions
  • Swim shorts/swim towel
  • Sunscreen etc
