Camp Focus

Goalscoring: shooting and finishing using correct technique from different angles, with different body parts, 1st time, on the move, from different services, and using combinations

Goalkeeping: enhancing techniques of shot stopping, handling, footwork, distribution with hands and feet, and discussing psychological factors of goalkeeping

All sessions are professionally conducted with many repetitions with a key emphasis on improving the individual’s technique. 

With former 3x All-American forward and current Lander University Head Men’s Soccer Coach Lee Squires, and former English professional youth team and All-Region Goalkeeper Tom Rusling

Residential: $170 ($195 After June 12th)

Additional Fee: Video of Highlights from Camp Performance - $40

(A small online convenience fee will be added on upon registration)

Refund Policy: All players will receive a refund minus $25 up to July 1st.  After this, no refunds will be permitted.


DAY 1:

  • Check in (9:00 am)
  • 1st Session - Separate GK/FWDS (10:00 - 11:30 AM)                      
  • Lunch (12:00 pm)        
  • Campus Tour(1:00 - 2:00 pm)
  • 2nd Session (3:00 - 5:00 pm)
  • Dinner (5:15 pm)            
  • 3rd Session  (7:30 - 9:30 pm)

DAY 2:

  • Breakfast (7.30 am)                
  • 4th Session (9:00 - 10:00 am)                
  • Lunch (12:00 pm) 
  • Q&A/Video Presentation (1:00 - 2:00 pm)                 
  • 5th Session (2:00 - 4:00 pm)
  • Depart (4:30 pm)
Includes all meals and accommodation in Lander Univeristy Dorms
What to Bring
  • Soccer training gear for number of training sessions provided (t-shirts, shorts, socks, waterproof jacket)
  • Soccer cleats and shin guards for all sessions
  • Water bottle (hydration provided at field, but useful to have own)
  • Tennis shoes if required to go indoors
  • Bed sheets, blankets, pillow
  • Phone charger
  • Towel and toiletries
  • Flip flops
  • General clothing for between training sessions
  • Swim shorts/swim towel
  • Sunscreen etc
